Dr. Angel was raised in Houston, Texas. He attended Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and obtained his BS in Biomedical Sciences. He earned a master’s degree from Walden University where he was part of forming the Upsilon Phi Delta honor society. During medical school, Dr. Angel was awarded the University Honor Scholarship, served as Vice President for the American Medical Student Association, and also met his wife!
Dr. Angel’s interest is in behavioral health. He believes that mental health is very important to a person’s overall wellbeing, “a smile can go a long way!” says Dr. Angel.
In his spare time, Dr. Angel enjoys running, participating in obstacle courses like Tough Mudder, Savage Race and hiking. If he is not traveling, which is his favorite hobby, he is building handcrafted projects at home and spending time with his wife and three furry babies.
