About

I chose a career in Family Medicine for the enjoyment and satisfaction of having a panel of continuity patients and the various pathologies walking through the doors on a daily basis. I mean, I am never bored! Family Medicine allows me to become a well rounded physician.

In high school, I used to be a dancer but I also enjoyed volleyball and art class. The fondest memories of medical school were making amazing memories with friends while enjoying the sun and beach on an island! I also loved relocating to the UK for almost a year while continuing my education. As residency has been my leading priority, I now enjoy going out with my colleagues (who are now friends) to different restaurants for a night full of laughter. The strangest diagnosis I have encountered while in residency were actually two cases of Aspergillosis! A condition we mostly read in our books!

Why did you choose NGMC GME?

What drew me to pursue FM with NGMC were the amazing resources, the dedication to the community and the kindness of the FM faculty/staff. I chose Georgia specifically for it’s cozy atmosphere and the feel of all different seasons!
