About
Dr. Harmon was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Growing up, he was a proud member of the juggling club and the head of the trumpet section in the marching band. He was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America and earned the rank of Eagle Scout while in high school. He attended the University of Florida and graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.A. in Criminology.
Dr. Harmon’s academic interests include wilderness medicine, ultrasound, and international medicine. He is a current member of EMRA, ACEP, and Wilderness Medical Society. He plans to pursue a Fellowship in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine and continue research related to public health. He is very excited to join the NGMC team and work with his fellow residents and program staff.
When he is not working in the hospital, Dr. Harmon can be found outside working in his garden or hiking on nearby trails.
