Dr. Skipper grew up in Kennesaw, GA. She attended Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN where she double majored in Cell Molecular Biology and French. After college she moved back home to warmer climates to attend medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA. There she met her husband Zach Skipper.
After graduating medical school they moved to Lexington, KY where she completed her residency in Emergency Medicine and Zach completed his in Orthopedic Surgery, at the University of Kentucky. They have been blessed with three beautiful children. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, watching stand-up comedy, and cooking. The Skipper’s are so excited to be back home serving their community here in Northeast Georgia.
